About the lodge
Small on purpose, comfortable by obsession.
WOW Lodge is 22 rooms around a pine garden on the edge of Packwood — a family-run place on the White Pass Scenic Byway. We are not a resort and don't want to be one. The plan has always been simpler: the best beds on the byway, a kitchen in most rooms, selected pet-friendly stays, and a quiet garden where the loudest thing at night is the river.
It seems to be working. Guests keep mentioning the beds, the quiet garden, and the relief of parking a few steps from the door. The elk — who answer to no ranking — keep choosing our lawn for breakfast.

Good to know
Easy to settle in.
Families, pets in selected rooms, trail gear, late dinners in town — the lodge works best when the practical details are clear before you arrive.
Family-friendly stays
Adjoining rooms, kitchens in most rooms, ground-level doors, and the garden make family logistics easier before and after the mountain.
Pet-friendly by request
Pets are welcome in selected rooms with advance approval. Call or message before booking so we can match you with the right room.
Coffee & kitchens, not a buffet
There's no breakfast service — most rooms have a kitchenette or full kitchen instead, and the coffee's yours whenever you wake. Parking is free, a few steps from your door.
Quiet garden rooms
The rooms are spread around a pine garden, not stacked along a corridor. At night you hear the river, and not much else.
Ground level, no elevator
Almost everything is on the ground floor — easy with ski bags, coolers, and knees that have opinions. There is no elevator because there is mostly nothing to elevate to.
No restaurant
We don't cook. Good food is a short walk away in Packwood — ask the desk and we'll point you to dinner.
A person answers the phone
Front desk 7:00 AM to 10:30 PM. Trail reports, dinner advice, napkin maps — included with the room.
Guest notes
Small, quiet, family-run, and built around the kind of beds people remember.
Book direct — no booking fees
